Diego Llorente of Leeds United could be acquired by Roma for approximately £4.3 million in the upcoming season.
As they look to reclaim automatic promotion to the Premier League, Leeds United is now 10 points behind Ipswich in second place in the Championship.
The defence, led by Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk, has been the cornerstone of Daniel Farke‘s team’s construction.
Rodon, who is currently on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, has shown promise during his short stay, and the team is reportedly eager to extend his contract.
They could sell Llorente, who has shown promise while on loan at Roma in the Serie A, to help with this.
If a deal were to occur next summer, Roma Metropolitan, via MOT Leeds News, estimates that he might cost the Italian team about £4.3 million.
Leeds may try to cash in on Llorente while they can and try to recoup some of the £18 million they originally spent on him in 2020, given that he is now thirty years old and has three years left on his contract.
