Tottenham Hotspur’s 26-year-old player is hurt during pre-season training and must be treated on the pitch.

Tanguy Ndombele was seen in significant discomfort after collapsing during pre-season training today, with the Tottenham Hotspur player requiring care on the field.

Football.Alasdair Gold of London came to Twitter and recorded a video of the Frenchman on the ground, clearly in pain, but he appeared to recover quickly.

Spurs landed in Australia over the weekend to begin their Asian pre-season tour.

Postecoglou is presently putting his Tottenham players through their paces in Perth, ahead of tomorrow’s friendly against West Ham.

The Australian manager has chosen a 31-man team for the trip and will examine his squad in the following days, with Tanguy Ndombele one player he will keep an eye on.

Ndombele has recently returned from a season-long loan at Napoli and will be eager to impress his new manager.
But the 26-year-old hasn’t had the best start to the pre-season tour, as he was seen nursing a ‘painful knock’ in training today.

Gold shared a video of Ndombele on the ground in anguish on Twitter today.

However, the Frenchman ultimately gets back on his feet and sets up Harry Kane for a simple finish seconds later.

“Concern for Tanguy Ndombele as he takes a painful knock, only to limp back into the game and set up Harry Kane to score,” Gold tweeted.
After returning to the club this summer, Ndombele appears to have made an immediate impact on Postecoglou.

It’s fair to say that his time at Spurs hasn’t gone well thus far, with his big-money move from Lyon largely seen as a flop.

Spurs supporters, on the other hand, will be hoping that an attack-minded coach like Postecoglou will bring out the best in the midfielder.

Ndombele has the skill to prosper at Spurs, but his success will be determined by his desire to play the Postecoglou method.
