Tottenham Spurs player Levi García, a forward for AEK Athens.
Fichajes reports that Spurs are looking into the possibility of signing AEK Athens forward Levi García this summer. The 26-year-old left-footed player has been a reliable goal threat in Greece over the past two seasons, so it is very likely that he won’t be playing for Hellas in the upcoming campaign.
The Trinidad and Tobago international is valued at €13 million on Transfermarket. García arrived in Athens for €2.2 million from Beitar Jerusalem four summers ago. With 42 caps, he has eight goals to his name for Trinidad & Tobago.
He was very much a late bloomer; in his 27 games for AEK Athens last season, he scored 14 goals and added four assists. He has been in incredible form this season, scoring five goals and dishing out an assist for the Dikéfalos in the Europa Conference League qualifications. At AEK Athens, García’s contract is now scheduled to expire at the end of the 2027–2028 season.
Signing Levi García would be akin to signing Postecoglou.
Unknown to most clubs, this gifted attacker is able to play both center and wide, just how Ange Postecoglou likes his forwards to be used. Since García is unlikely to reject down a Premier League move at this point in his career, Spurs may pursue other possibilities, making this one a late window signing.
