After taking a two-goal lead, the Reds were unable to recover as the Hatters equalized in stoppage time.

Chris Wood’s manager applauded him after he scored two fantastic goals in the second half. Although everything appeared to be going well for the Reds, Forest’s momentum was destroyed by a flurry of needless substitutions.

Following Saturday’s match, Forest has now dropped to 15th place in the Premier League. The Reds are once again watching closely after the victories over Brentford and Wolves over the weekend.

Cooper describes how the disappointing draw made him feel in the dressing room.

The 43-year-old was obviously not satisfied with how Saturday’s events went. He witnessed his side play comfortably, but he also witnessed the wheels come off.

Elijah Adebayo and Chiedozie Ogbene’s goals put Luton on the verge of victory and left Forest reeling. They now have four teams to compete against, all of which play football in Europe.

Boos echoed across the City Ground following the game. Forest has already lost five straight games, and after adding some true talent this summer, Cooper can’t afford another relegation struggle.

“I was frustrated as well,” Nottinghamshire Live was told by the head coach. Nobody in the dressing room seemed to care about how the game went down; everyone was just frustrated.

“Everyone leaving the stadium, including the staff and players, will be irritated and disappointed. Together, along with the supporters, we win, lose, and draw.”

“We’ve been discussing the assistance for a few years now. Like everyone else, I’m irritated and dissatisfied.”
