Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, praised Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford after they worked together to defeat Leicester
In the first half, Rashford assisted Sancho in scoring the game-winning goal as Manchester United went on to win 1-0.
This was Rashford’s first assist and Sancho’s second goal of the year. He also has a single objective.
Ten Hag thinks both players deserve it and is happy to see them making a constructive contribution.
Ten Hag praises Sancho and Rashford.
After the game, Ten Hag told MUTV that he appreciated both players’ attitudes and that they were following his instructions.
I’m incredibly thrilled for him [Sancho], and Rashford got a beautiful assist, he said.
They both put in a lot of effort, spent a lot of money on the preseason, and contribute significantly to the team with their pressing, so this is their reward.
Following their exclusion from the England squad, both players started their physical training in June and completed a full preseason under Ten Hag.
They are all putting in a lot of effort for United, and if they keep it up, they might get called up to the England team.
Rashford is still capable of annoying. Though his second-half play was a little unimpressive, he seems to be working more harder than he did last season.
Ten Hag’s remarks will also be made with the intention of boosting the pair’s self-assurance. The manager is aware that he is capable of getting much more from them, and Antony is currently standing by.
Rashford and Sancho aren’t providing United with any quality competition, so Ten Hag will.
