André Ayew has been looking for a new team ever since leaving Nottingham Forest on a free transfer at the end of the previous campaign.
According to a report from Foot Mercato journalist Sebastien Denis, the player will now probably play in Turkey.
Ayew reportedly arrived in Istanbul on Friday. He is in negotiations with Fatih Karagümrük, but another Turkish club and an unidentified European team are also interested in signing him because there isn’t a deal in place just yet.
On the final day of June, the player’s contract with Nottingham Forest expired, and he currently appears to be having some difficulty locating the ideal team to join as his next stop. The winger transferred for free from Qatari club Al-Sadd to the City Ground during the winter transfer window.
He made 13 appearances during his brief time at Nottingham Forest, however due to his inability to score or provide an assist, his contract was not renewed.
Ayew would not be unfamiliar with a move to Turkey as he previously played the 2018–19 season with Fenerbahce while on loan from Swansea City at the time.
