After rejecting Leeds United: The player was dubbed ‘arrogant; spoiled and untrustworthy.’

Nadiem Amiri has turned down Leeds United for the third time this week, and German media source BILD is outraged.

Daniel Farke‘s side has targeted the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder. The Whites also had an agreement with the Bundesliga team, but Amiri has enraged everyone involved in the deal.

Nadiem Amiri was labelled ‘arrogant’ after refusing a trade to Leeds United.
Leeds United‘s Nadiem Amiri transfer saga has been extremely frustrating.

Last week, the Whites made a play to sign the German, and a deal appeared to be in the works. However, Amiri turned down a move to Elland Road in order to join Marseille.

Amiri was suddenly open to a move to Leeds after the French club opted not to sign him, but he turned the Whites down for the second time.

On Monday, it appeared that a deal would be struck, and Leeds even flew the player over to England to clinch the transfer. However, the German opted to return home and reject Farke‘s side for the third time.

Amiri has failed to impress BILD. This has been dubbed the’most embarrassing transfer posse of the summer’. After rejecting Leeds, they went after the player again, dubbing him “arrogant, spoiled, and unreliable.”

Leeds have every right to be angry with Amiri, but they don’t have time to worry about something that won’t happen this week.

There are only three days remaining in this window, and the Whites have many deals lined up that must be completed by Friday.

It’s unfortunate that we didn’t get Amiri, but it’s not the end of the world. Farke will now have to find another victim, and we’re confident they’ll find one who won’t cause as much of a stir as the German did.

It will be intriguing to see who Leeds targets in place of Amiri.
