Bournemouth has triggered the release clause in Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams’ contract, according to talkSPORT.
Despite the Whites’ desire to keep him, the American midfielder is eager to leave Leeds following the club’s relegation to the Championship.
He appeared to be on his way to Chelsea after they matched his £20 million relegation release clause, but issues over payment structure forced the Blues to back out.
Adams does, however, have another Premier League alternative in the form of Bournemouth.
The Cherries have activated the release clause in his Leeds contract and are in the process of signing him.
Bournemouth feel Adams can strengthen their midfield as they attempt to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.
It is unknown whether personal arrangements have been agreed upon with Adams’ agents.
Leeds, on the other hand, appear to have little chance of keeping the American, and he is destined to join what has become a huge exodus of Elland Road players.
