Ange Postecoglou describes it as “phenomenal.” Tottenham’s player has recovered from his injury

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has delivered some encouraging player news ahead of Saturday’s Premier League match against Everton.

Brennan Johnson, Giovani Lo Celso, and Ashley Phillips are all available for the 3pm kickoff at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, according to the Spurs manager.

Johnson had to leave Tottenham’s game over Nottingham Forest last week because to a clash of heads, but he has been training all week.

Meanwhile, Lo Celso missed Spurs’ match against the Reds due to a muscle complaint. He was a doubt before the game against Toffees, but Postecoglou believes he, too, is back.

Finally, Phillips has returned to the team ahead of schedule after suffering an ankle injury while playing for England Under-19s during the November international break.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has received a triple injury boost.

Postecoglou had earlier stated that the 18-year-old would be out until the New Year, but he returned to training this week and is now available as well.

Giovani Lo Celso
“Yes, Brennan’s fine – he’s trained all week,” Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino told SPURSPLAY during Friday’s pre-match news conference, via the official Spurs website.

Meanwhile, during his news conference, Postecoglou said, “Gio Lo Celso is back.”

“He’s fine, and everyone else is fine, except for the suspended boys [Yves Bissouma and Destiny Udogie] we’re missing.”

Ashley Philips

“Gio has trained last couple of days and Ashley Phillips is also available.”

Postecoglou was allegedly set to give Phillips his debut in November, but an injury sustained while on international service ended that.

Now that the ‘phenomenal’ talent is back on track, maybe he won’t have to wait too long for his first senior minutes with the Spurs.
