Ange Postecoglou has reacted to ‘huge’ news from Tottenham this week

Destiny Udogie‘s contract was not about to expire, but having only a few years left on it is far riskier than having his future assured until 2030.

Many large teams would have tried to entice Udogie away from Spurs in the following years, and many still might. Tottenham, on the other hand, are in a very strong position as a result of his new contract.
