Ange Postecoglou reveals when Richarlison will return from injury for Tottenham.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has provided an update on Brazilian forward Richarlison’s injury and estimated time of return.

Tottenham have made a good start to the Premier League season, and Richarlison has looked much better than last season.

He has appeared in ten games for the club this season, but he was on the bench and did not play in the Premier League for the first time this season against Chelsea.

Richarlison will now require surgery for an ongoing groyne issue, according to reports earlier this week, and manager Ange Postecoglou has provided an injury update on the player.

Richarlison is expected to return to Tottenham soon after the international break.
The Spurs manager provided the most recent injury updates ahead of the club’s Premier League match against Wolves this weekend. There are some concerns ahead of the game.

Postecoglou commented on Richarlison‘s injury, saying, “To be fair to Richy, he has battled through it for the season so far, and with the international break coming up, it gives him a chance to get it done now.” It should only be four weeks to a month, so hopefully not too long after the international break.”

When news broke that Richarlison would need surgery, many people assumed he would be out for an extended period of time.

Christian Romero

Thankfully, Postecoglou‘s latest update indicates that he will be back much sooner, which is fantastic news.

With the suspensions of Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie, as well as injuries to players like James Maddison and Richarlison, Tottenham’s squad depth is beginning to dwindle.

Tottenham will hopefully be able to stay strong in the coming games, and no doubt the manager will be relieved that the international break is approaching, giving injured players an extra week.
