Archie Gray of Leeds United has sent a “greatest of all time” letter to teammate Crysencio Summerville.
The latter scored twice as the Whites overcame Norwich City 3-2 in the Championship on Saturday (October 21).
At Carrow Road, Shane Duffy and Gabriel Sara put the hosts ahead, but Duffy then scored an own goal before Summerville‘s double sealed an away win.
Gray and Summerville both started the game, with the former playing the complete 90 minutes and the latter being replaced late in the game by Liam Cooper.
Summerville celebrated the victory on Instagram, with Elland Road teammate Gray reacting with the goat emoji, which means “greatest of all time.”
Stunning victory
Leeds rarely does things easily, and Daniel Farke and his gifted bunch of players at Carrow Road were no exception.
The previous manager’s return to Norwich was a disaster, with the home team sprinting to all three points with two goals in the first half.
But the manager certainly motivated his players in the second half, ending in a wonderful brace from winger Summerville.
Farke could have easily made a change early in the second half by replacing Summerville with fresh legs, with players like Jaidon Anthony and Wilfried Gnonto patiently waiting in the wings.
Keeping him on the pitch, however, proved critical, with the attacker pouring on the charm for the travelling Leeds fans.
The Whites took all three points back to West Yorkshire and are now third in the table, 11 points behind leaders Leicester City.
