As Daniel Farke gets busy; a Sky journalist provides Leeds United supporters with a triple transfer update.

Journalist Tim Thornton for Sky Sports has provided a fresh on-air update on Leeds United’s ongoing transfer activities.

In order to add the last touches to their roster before the season kicks off in four days, Leeds is still searching for additional reinforcements. So far this preseason, Leeds has added four new players, all of whom appear to be settling in nicely. But the Whites have gone two and a half weeks without a signing.

Following Leeds’ first-ever friendly in Germany, Daniel Farke acknowledged that he is still looking to enhance his full-back and central midfield positions. Nevertheless, with the sale of magical Championship POTS Crysencio Summerville to West Ham United, a replacement winger is now also desired.

Tim Thornton provides an update on Hugo Bueno, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, and Jonathan Rowe.

Over the past 48 hours, there have been more connections to potential new hires, with both loan and permanent targets being tracked. Norwich City rejected Leeds’ £7 million offer for Jonathan Rowe, and Crystal Palace’s Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is expecting to hear from the team this week.

Farke is eager to find a rival for Junior Firpo, and one player that is being considered is Hugo Bueno of Wolverhampton Wanderers, a left-back.

Journalist Tim Thornton gave a live update on Monday night’s Transfer Show on Sky Sports about Leeds’ interest in all three.

“They are interested in Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe,” he stated. This agreement could be derailed by two issues: first, whether Norwich will sell to a Championship competitor, and second, whether they can agree on a price.

Furthermore, Gabriel Sara, a standout performer for Norwich last season, was sold to Galatasaray over the weekend. Selling two of their best players in the week before the new season begins doesn’t seem like a smart move for Norwich. Leeds has him as one option, but closing the deal will be challenging. They are also considering a trade for Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, a winger for Crystal Palace, although he is a player that many teams are interested in. Due to his youth, potential, and availability, Leeds will try to arrange a loan agreement for him.

Additionally, they are considering a loan agreement for Wolves full-back Hugo Bueno. Leeds is interested in this player, but their issue with loans is that they won’t give them playing time; instead, they will have to earn it. Naturally, Premier League teams want their players to play when they loan them out.

Leeds could face a double-edged threat from Wolves.

Thornton pointed out that Leeds might find it challenging to complete a deal for Bueno since they can’t ensure he will start right away. Firpo is pretty much set for that role for the foreseeable future, therefore Wolves will undoubtedly be eager to send him to a team that can provide him with consistent playing time.

The Premier League team is also interested in Rowe, so Leeds may have trouble with him in addition to the Bueno deal because of Wolves. Players will almost always choose to move to the top division, as seen by the numerous trades that have been made in the last 14 months since Leeds’ return to the Championship.

Leeds must move quickly to complete the deal since Rowe might be chosen to replace Pedro Neto if he were to depart.
