Former Premier League striker Michy Batshuayi is currently being considered by Nottingham Forest to transfer to them from Fenerbahce.
Steve Cooper wants to add more firepower before the transfer window closes and Forest loses Brennan Johnson, who Tottenham Hotspur wants.
According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Batshuayi is currently in contact with Nottingham Forest and Fenerbahce.
As the transfer window closes, Nottingham Forest is pressed for time to complete the acquisition of the Belgian attacker.
Negotiations to bring Batshuayi to the City Ground are in progress; his transfer fee is €10 million.
Batshuayi has experience playing in the Premier League after having played for Chelsea and Crystal Palace.
The striker has played for Turkey’s national team since 2021, first on loan with Besiktas and most recently with Fenerbahce.
With two goals in the Europa Conference League competitions, he has already helped Fenerbahce score this year.
