Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers’ winger Pedro Neto.
Arsenal and Manchester United are allegedly interested in signing the 23-year-old. However, Ben Jacobs has indicated to Give Me Sport that the North London clubs are more likely to sign him than the Red Devils.
“At this point, I believe Neto is more likely to join Arsenal or Tottenham. We know Tottenham’s interest in Neto is historical, and I expect Arsenal to consider him as one of several targets in that position this summer.
“They will be quite tough on pricing. You can understand why, in an inflated market where several attackers and midfielders have cost more than £70 million.”
The 23-year-old possesses all of the qualities necessary to grow into a top-tier winger, and he might be an important player for Tottenham in the future. The North London club could surely benefit from his flair, creativity, and pace on the sides.
The potential to join a large club like Tottenham or Arsenal will be an appealing prospect for the player, since it would be a significant step forward in his career. He’d get to compete for trophies with them.
Meanwhile, Manchester United is also in need of a quality winger like him. Antony and Jadon Sancho have been disappointing since joining the club, and they will need to be replaced adequately.
It will be intriguing to see if Tottenham are willing to pay a higher price for the highly rated winger at the end of the season. They will need to strengthen their roster if they are to challenge for big titles next season.
