Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou intends to sell many players this summer in order to bankroll a significant team reconstruction.

Postecoglou has intimated in recent interviews that he will have to be harsh in letting go Spurs players who aren’t good enough for his lofty goals.

Tottenham made a promising start to the 2023/24 season, and their new playing style delighted fans, but they ultimately fell short of their goal of qualifying for the Champions League.

Right-back Emerson Royal, who dropped down Postecoglou’s pecking order near the conclusion of the season, has long been linked with a move.

It has been believed that Emerson will be part of a 10-man clearout this summer, and a new source claims that’multiple offers’ have already been made to him.
