He then made the error that led to Ipswich’s second goal, and Ayling was seen speaking to him as they exited the ground, with the 21-year-old failing to return.
Farke took responsibility for the defender’s performance after the game, saying, “It was difficult for him to come into such a game to such a hectic game, and I won’t blame him at all.”
