Brenden Aaronson could return to Leeds United after his loan spell if the club gets promoted.

According to Beren Cross of LeedsLive, Leeds United midfielder Brenden Aaronson, who recently signed a loan deal with Union Berlin, might return to Elland Road following his loan stay if the team is competing in the Premier League.

During a question and answer session on LeedsLive [19 July], Cross stated that, of all of Leeds‘ loaned-out talents this season, Aaronson is the one who may return to the club in the future if he returns to show himself in England.

It was suggested that the American would need to impress while on loan, with Cross noting that “he really would have to pull up trees,” while an extra year in Germany may see him enhance his physicality, paving the way for a return to the Premier League.

Aaronson still has time to show himself.

During Aaronson‘s tenure at Elland Road, the biggest concern was a difficulty effecting the game owing to a lack of physicality. If he can strengthen his frame and become more influential through his upcoming experience in Germany and European competition, he may be able to return.

Aaronson is one of several players who have left Leeds United this summer because they do not want to play in the Championship. Are these the players you’d want on your team?

If they appear hesitant to battle to get the club back to where it belongs, it may be claimed that they don’t deserve to play once they’re there.

Aaronson was brought to Leeds United by Jesse Marsch as part of an influx of American and RB Salzburg-based players, so it’s unknown how well he’d fit into a new-look Farke team if he returned next season.

Aaronson appears to be the most likely to return to Leeds United of all the players who have departed on loan, including Diego Llorente, Robin Koch, and Marc Roca.
