Brighton is ‘determined’ to sign a player in the coming weeks – Players’ days at the club have ‘numbered’

Brighton and Hove Albion are ‘determined’ to win the race for Boca Juniors’ Valentin Barco and will pay his release fee if necessary.

Planeta Boca Juniors reports that the young defender’s time at the club is coming to an end and that he will be moving on.

There is particular interest in the Premier League, where Brighton and Manchester City have both been linked with him and attempted to sign him last summer.
