Kaoru Mitoma is expected to miss the game against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The Seagulls are facing a selection crisis, with several key players ruled out of Saturday’s match at the City Ground. Pervis Estupinan, Solly March, Danny Welbeck, James Milner, and Mo Dahoud are all expected to be absent against Nottingham Forest.

In other news, striker Evan Ferguson is questionable after suffering an injury in the Republic of Ireland‘s Euro 2024 qualifier loss to the Netherlands on Saturday. Brighton defender Lewis Dunk may also miss Saturday’s game after withdrawing from the England squad.

Before the international break, Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi stated that he hoped to have several of his stars back in training ahead of the match against Steve Cooper‘s side, but it appears that his options will be limited.

“I don’t know the time, but I hope to find out after the break for the injured players – Tariq Lamptey, Estupinan, and Lewis Dunk,” he said. When we begin training, I hope and believe we will be able to locate them on the field.”

Brighton is eighth in the Premier League table but have lost their last six league games. Forest, meanwhile, will be looking to rebound from their 3-2 defeat at West Ham last time out when they return to Trent side this weekend to face the Seagulls.
