Brighton could be without five of their first team players for the trip to Bournemouth on Sunday which is their sixth league game.
The Seagulls face a short time for their preparation for their next Premier League game, just three days after a disappointing 3-2 defeat at home to AEK Athens in their first ever Europa league game.
Brighton was without Captain Lewis Dunk in the AEK Athens game because he sustained a muscular injury following their 3-1 win against Manchester United. The Albion’s coach, Robert De Zerbi admitted in his pre match conference that Dunk was unlikely to be back in time for the Sunday game. He also stated that James Milner and Pascal Gross were struggling with injury issues following the Thursday game. He said “I don’t know the situation of James Milner, Lewis Dunk and Pascal Gross. We have to analyze the situation and make the best decision”.
Brighton will also be without Julio Enciso and Jakub Moder as they continue their recovery from long-term injury. Robert De Zerbi also said there is a chance that Evan Ferguson could play the Sunday game.
Albion are expected to make a number of changes for Sunday’s game, they have had a good start in this season with winning four matches of their first five league games.
