Transfer in the future

During the summer transfer window, Chelsea was on the lookout for Moises Caicedo. Brighton was hesitant to sell him despite multiple bids but were eventually persuaded to let him go for a British record fee of £115 million.

The Ecuadorian has been a huge hit in midfield for the Blues, and the club is now interested in signing Ferguson, who has a lot of potential. With the right level of development, the 19-year-old could develop into an elite center-forward in the coming seasons.

Chelsea is obviously interested in signing him and could use their Brighton connections to do so. However, they will almost certainly face competition from Manchester United. who could use another young striker in their lineup next season.

Rasmus Hojlund has already scored five Champions League goals since joining the club in the summer. Bringing in Ferguson would be a bold move on their part. They could have two of the best young shooters on their team.

Meanwhile, Chelsea is interested in Napoli‘s Victor Osimhen, and it remains to be seen whether they will pursue both him and Ferguson. One thing is certain: Brighton may demand a nine-figure sum to consider Ferguson‘s departure.
