Journalist Sami Mokbel of The Daily Mail has given some interesting Tottenham transfer news as manager Ange Postecoglou’s influence grows.

“You’ve got to play the game, we’ll see what happens but I’m hopeful it will be much earlier than the end of the window before we bring someone in.”
More good news for Tottenham fans and the club’s manager: Werner and Dragusin may not be the only signings before January 31, with sources claiming Spurs are moving forward with plans to bring in a new number eight.
Chelsea star Conor Gallagher is thought to be a real interest for Spurs, however much depends on whether the Blues are willing to sell and whether chairman Daniel Levy can offload Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Nonetheless, the fact that Tottenham approved Postecoglou’s request for early arrivals demonstrates how much the manager is valued behind the scenes.
