Leeds United manager Daniel Farke is unconcerned about the ‘huge problem’ of having too many options at right back. That is the opinion of Paul Robinson, who was asked about the matter following Luke Ayling‘s recent exclusion from the starting eleven.

The long-serving defender has been Farke‘s first-choice pick for much of the season, but he was benched in the most recent victory over Bristol City. Archie Grey moved from midfield to the wing, with summer acquisition Sam Byram and loanee Djed Spence also contending for the position.

has previously covered the role, and Stuart Dallas could be considered if his injury rehabilitation progresses. Farke has lots of choices at right-back, according to Robinson, and the only issue the Whites manager may face is keeping all of his players happy.

“I don’t think there’s an issue [at right-back],” he told MOT Leeds News. I believe you have three or four quality players at your disposal. At the weekend, Sam Byram started and Luke Ayling came off the bench.

“It’s a situation in which he’ll think, ‘I’ve got these players at my disposal.'” The issue he faces is keeping everyone satisfied and allowing everyone to play.

“Ayling has been an outstanding servant to the club.” His leadership qualities on and off the pitch, as well as his quality, the club promotions, and Premier League campaigns.

“He’s a player you want in the dressing room, but when you look at the other options the manager has, I don’t think it’s a situation he’ll be concerned about.” But I think it’s a terrific problem for the club to have.”
