Daniel Farke may give Leeds attacker his debut in the next game.

Daniel Farke, the manager of Leeds United, has a major decision to make ahead of their Wednesday night match against Queen’s Park Rangers.

The All Whites enter the game in ninth place, but are only one win away from fourth-placed Sunderland.

Meanwhile, the west Londoners have gone four games without a win and will be eager to improve on their present 22nd place.

It’ll be a tall order for QPR to get anything out of the game in front of a raucous Elland Road crowd, but any complacency from the hosts may see them fall apart.

Despite the setback against Southampton, the all whites’ recent wins and draws have become something of a routine.

To some extent, the old football adage that you don’t change a winning team is accurate, but if particular players aren’t providing the kind of performance that you know they’re capable of, it’s an easy decision to bring in someone else to liven things up.

On the Don’t Go To Bed Just Yet podcast, BBC journalist Adam Pope agreed that Farke should give loan signing Jaidon Anthony his long-awaited debut.

“So far, I like the look of (Jaidon) Anthony. “I think his delivery could be more consistent than (Crysencio) Summerville‘s at the moment, I think he gets the role more, where as Summerville‘s a bit too off the cuff, and that causes issues for delivery into the front men,” he remarked of his sub appearances.

“So I’d love to see Anthony start, I really would, and he’s got to be close.”
