As the 49ers Enterprises attempt to bring stability to Elland Road, Daniel Farke has revealed constructive meetings with Leeds United chairman Paraag Marathe.
The boss expressed his joy that everyone at the club is on the same page and heading in the same direction for both short-term and long-term success.
Farke told Leeds Live: “In the beginning, when we had the initial talks, obviously a lot because I wanted to see the whole picture and also how they want to lead the club, which way, which values, and which processes.” “I had a really good gut feeling about this, and we were pretty much on the same page and had similar ideas.” “Also, how to bring stability and, hopefully, mid and long-term success to the club, rather than just short-term success.” Everyone wants the short term, but also the long term and what we want to build, and we’re all on the same page.
“In general, Paraag leads this club. It’s wonderful to have those folks in your life. This group is truly fortunate with a large number of high-quality members. At the moment, all we have to do is ensure that we make the correct judgements in the future.”
Positive thinking promotes positive thinking.
A strong relationship between the manager and the chairman is always a plus for any football club. It was critical for Leeds to build that relationship across the club’s tiers once the 49ers took ownership in the summer and Marathe was appointed.
Farke‘s praise for his chairman and their connection will increase morale around the club, as they will have faith that the best interests of Leeds are at heart and the club is moving forward together.
With a great working relationship across all levels of the club and continued success on the football, it is an exciting moment to be at Elland Road for everyone associated to the club.
