Tottenham injury news: Doctor issues Ryan Sessegnon’s return schedule.
According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, Tottenham defender Ryan Sessegnon will be out for 12 weeks, thereby ending his season.
According to the injury expert, surgery is the only option in certain instances, as was the case with the English fullback.
The 23-year-old published a statement after Spurs announced that he had surgery.
“He was dealing with a hamstring ailment last year and has now sustained a blow on the other side.
“In certain cases, surgery appears to be the only option, and this is what happened with Sessegnon.
“He will be sidelined for more than 12 weeks, which means he will miss the rest of the season.
“It’s important that he’s not rushed back as he was already lacking match sharpness as he’s barely featured this season.”
Sessegnon to fight for Spurs’ future after comeback
The Englishman will be heartbroken by his recent injury absence, but he has demonstrated that he is determined to battle for his future.
His contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium expires in the summer of 2025, and because of his injury, he may not be moved out in June.
However, the focus will now be on ensuring that he takes care of himself and completes his recovery without incident.
Spurs are currently without Pedro Porro, Fraser Forster, Manor Solomon, and Destiny Udogie due to injuries.
