Doctor: Tottenham’s star might be ruled out of first-team training until mid-December.

Richarlison of Tottenham Hotspur receives an update on his training comeback from his doctor.

Dr. Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has joined us as an exclusive columnist. Every week, he’ll provide his thoughts on Tottenham Hotspur‘s injury situation…

According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, Tottenham striker Richarlison may be out of first-team training until the middle of December due to a hernia.

The injury expert feels that a return in the next few days is improbable due to the repetitive pulling of adductor muscles on the pubic bone.

Ange Postecoglou said on November 10 that the 26-year-old has been dealing with this issue all season.

Dr. Brar, a specialist in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Tottenham News exclusively: “Based on commentary and the fact he’s been carrying it for a while and playing through pain, he likely has what’s called a sports hernia.”

“This is the repetitive pulling of the adductor muscles on the pubic bone, which causes constant inflammation and discomfort in football players.”

“He should be back in training by the middle of December.”

“If he’s slated for a return to first-team football on 15 December, he might even be back in full training in the first week of December.”

Since his big-money move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last summer, the 26-year-old has struggled to make an impression.

The Brazil international appeared in 27 Premier League games in 2022/23, scoring one goal and providing three assists.

This season, he’s amassed identical stats in just 10 Premier League matches, which Postecoglou would have enjoyed.

Spurs fans will be hopeful that once he recovers from his injury, he can maintain his form from his time at Everton.
