Ange Postecoglou has incorporated a number of junior players into the Tottenham Hotspur senior squad.

Ashley Phillips, Alfie Dorrington, Alejo Veliz, Jamie Donley, and Mikey Moore have all recently been given the opportunity to progress from the youth ranks to practice alongside the first squad.

Another youngster, Pape Matar Sarr, has broken into the first squad this season, establishing himself as one of Ange Postecoglou‘s key players.

Tottenham offers Callum Olusesi a professional contract.

The club formally announced the deal for the youngster on their website, confirming Olusesi’s first professional contract with the club.

The club announcement stated:

“We are delighted to announce that Callum Olusesi has signed his first professional contract with the club.”

“The 17-year-old central midfielder featured regularly for our Under-18s in 2022/23 while still a schoolboy and has continued to be a key figure in that age group this season, after going full-time with us last summer.”

Callum Olusesi has been impressing in the academy.

Callum Olusesi has already made tremendous development in Tottenham’s academy, showcasing his skill at multiple age levels, including the U17, U18, and U19 squads.

The teenager has been extremely impressive for Spurs’ U18 team, scoring 8 goals and giving 4 assists in 18 games across all competitions during the current season.

His excellent performances drew interest from all over Europe, with Romano reportedly saying that five European teams were seeking him last summer. However, he appears to have rejected them all and signed a professional contract with Tottenham.

While Olusesi is not immediately ready for first-team action, his signing is a big step forward for both the player and the organisation.

As Tottenham looks to the future, developing individuals like Olusesi assures a solid basis for continued success in the years ahead.
