Elland Road is ready to receive Emmanuel Latte Lath’s proposal in the Leeds United transfer update.

According to Leeds United News, Leeds United is thinking about making an offer to capture Emmanuel Latte Lath, a striker for Middlesbrough, during the winter transfer window.

According to a source on January 7, the Whites are already planning their own move for Boro‘s number nine, despite interest from Ipswich Town, Leicester City, and West Ham in the Ivorian.
Daniel Farke and the 49ers Enterprises are both interested in the 26-year-old, who has scored 10 goals in 26 Championship games this season and is on track to surpass his 16 goals from the previous campaign.

Joel Piroe has also scored ten goals this season, but Farke wants to increase his striker depth in LS11 because Joe Gelhardt is moving towards the exit door and Patrick Bamford, who is presently sidelined, is linked to it.

A big Leeds United statement might result from the transfer of Emmanuel Latte Lath.
The notion of adding the third-highest scorer in the Championship to the team that leads the division in goals scored is alluring, but if Latte Lath signs on, the Whites will have just that.

Latte Lath joined Boro last summer for £4.2 million from Atalanta, so if United were to get him from the Riverside this month, it would probably cost them a lot more.
Latte Lath is the mainstay of Boro’s attack under Michael Carrick, and the team is strongly in the running for Premier League promotion this season, lying fifth in the table and 11 points outside the top two, just like Farke’s team.

Carrick knows that bringing the Ivorian into the mix may ensure promotion at Elland Road, so he won’t be letting Latte Lath go without a fight, despite of the 49ers’ offer.

Given Illan Meslier’s recent performances, United’s defensive efforts have received a lot of attention this month, but adding Latte Lath to an already strong frontline might make all the difference.

According to Elland Road sources, selling one of Leeds‘ best players last summer was a “blessing in disguise.”
