On Sunday (29 October), The Sun columnist revealed on his Patreon that the Canaries‘ director of football put in his notice in June but could have stayed at Carrow Road until the end of the year.

Nixon stated that the transfer of authority is now “complete,” implying that the Welshman can go early after being tied to “several posts,” including one at Elland Road.

Managers are rarely engaged in these kind of choices, although Farke would be expected to have an opinion on Webber’s probable hiring after working with him at Norwich.

The pair worked together at Carrow Road for four years before the Leeds manager was fired in 2021 after securing two promotions to the Premier League.

They certainly understand how each other works, and you’d believe they still have a good connection if the Whites are thinking about bringing Webber to Elland Road.

49ers Enterprises is currently trying to expand its workforce in West Yorkshire after being astonished by how few people were doing a variety of roles.

This would be another significant appointment made by the new owners as they seek to improve affairs off the pitch in order to better position the club if they return to the Premier League.
