Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing 19-year-old Nordsjaelland forward Ernest Nuamah, who is valued at £22 million.
Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign Ernest Nuamah before the end of the transfer window, according to the Daily Mail. The 19-year-old attacking phenom has established quite a reputation for himself recently, and he is on the radar of numerous major clubs from throughout Europe.
Nuamah joined Danish club Nordsjaelland in January of last year and has since grown in stature. He has appeared in 49 matches for the Dutch club since signing and has contributed 25 goals.
Last season, the 19-year-old appeared in 35 games and contributed 19 goals to his tally. He found the back of the goal 15 times and had four assists.
The young star was on fire in the 2022/23 season and has continued to impress in the 2023-24 season. In the new season, the Ghana international has appeared in six matches and has contributed to five goals.
His outstanding performances since joining the Danish club have piqued the interest of many. A number of prominent teams in Europe have been keeping an eye on him for some time and are seeking to sign him.
One of the clubs interested in his services is Tottenham Hotspur. After the departure of Harry Kane, the London club is trying to reinforce their attack and have their sights set on the 19-year-old who can play on either flank.
Spurs have not yet made an official proposal for the Ghana international. They have, however, inquired about his availability. Daniel Levy hopes to complete the signings before the deadline day.
Meanwhile, Nuamah‘s contract with Nordsjaelland expires after three years. However, the Danish club is willing to negotiate his departure and values him at roughly £22 million. While Spurs have inquired about him, given the number of teams interested in his signature, they will need to act quickly.
