Jack Harrison made a six-word concession following Everton’s defeat to Luton Town on Saturday (30 September).
The 26-year-old came off the bench for the Toffees, but he couldn’t prevent them from losing 2-1 to the Hatters at Goodison Park.
After the game, the English winger uploaded a photo of himself on Instagram with the message “frustrating result but we keep fighting” to express his unhappiness.
Cautious
Many Everton fans will have been upset that Harrison did not start the game after impressing in the Carabao Cup triumph against Aston Villa in midweek.
However, the winger is still working his way back to full fitness after being out for several months, so Sean Dyche is understandably cautious.
He came on at halftime, but he couldn’t quite do enough to assist the Toffees get a result as they were defeated once again at Goodison Park.
There will be many more chances for Harrison to shine in a Blues shirt, and it would not be surprising to see him given a start against Bournemouth on Saturday (7 October).
As he stated, the players would “keep fighting,” but they must start accumulating points at home if they do not want to be pulled into another relegation struggle.
