Ange Postecoglou again changed his Tottenham midfield lineup against Arsenal, leaving Bryan King “surprised.”
On Sunday, April 28, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs lost 3-2 to Arsenal despite the starting midfield duo of Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, with the former being substituted at the half.
Furthermore, King, who is only speaking to Tottenham News, finds it puzzling that Postecoglou keeps making changes.
Before the game, King expressed concern over Postecoglou‘s repeated modifications in the middle of the park.
“I’m astonished that he seems to be switching up the midfield lineup every game.
At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Ange Postecoglou needs to establish consistency.
This season, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr appeared to be the preferred midfield duo at one time.
But that has altered in the last few weeks, as the midfield pair’s play has slightly declined.
Spurs are having trouble staying consistent as Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Sarr, and Bissouma have all come and gone from the squad.
Postecoglou needs to quickly identify the ideal midfield formula.
In other Tottenham news, a £110 million claim is made, and revenues at the club are expected to reach “enormous” heights.
