Brennan Johnson of Nottingham Forest is due to hold new negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur over a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 22-year-old winger has been linked with a move to North London throughout the transfer season, but Ange Postecoglou‘s club has not made a bid for him.
However, Thomas Frank and Brentford have had two bids for the Forest Academy graduate rejected, with the most recent offering totaling £43 million.
Johnson could still stay at the City Ground, but a move to Tottenham isn’t out of the question with only one day left in the transfer window.

Johnson was supposed to meet with Spurs about a possible move earlier this hour, according to Sky Sports News.
“Breaking transfer news involving Brennan Johnson, who has been linked with a number of clubs, including Brentford and Tottenham.”
“In breaking news, Tottenham Hotspur are set to hold additional talks with Nottingham Forest about Brennan Johnson today.”
“This summer, he’s been a top target for Tottenham.” Forest CEO Steve Cooper stated earlier today, “If anything is going to happen, we are getting closer to that time.” He stated that there is ‘no official news, but we continue as usual.’
“However, the Spurs are set to hold fresh talks later today.”
As previously said, the Reds are holding out for £50 million for Johnson and will not accept any bids below that sum.
With only one day left in the transfer window, Forest must have a successor set up in case Tottenham match his valuation and Johnson leaves the City Ground.
