Exclusive: Spurs and West Ham race to capture Juventus player; offer will be received

Sources tell Football Insider that Tottenham, West Ham, Brighton, and Everton are interested in signing Juventus sensation Samuel Iling-Junior.

Iling-Junior, 20, is out of contract with the Serie A giants in the summer of 2025, and the club has grudgingly recognised that they may have to sell the dynamic attacker to prevent losing him for free.

Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that the Premier League quartet would try to take advantage of Juventus‘ need to sell this summer and get the England under-21 star.

Spurs and Everton have long admired the former Chelsea kid, and they explored buying him during the January transfer window.

Tottenham could make a play for Juventus‘ star Samuel Iling-Junior: Bundesliga duo Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich are also keeping a close eye on the Englishman, with the latter evaluating him as a possible replacement for Real Madrid’s Alphonso Davies.

Iling-Junior‘s developing reputation has been bolstered by good performances in Serie A and for England’s under-21 team.

After leaving Chelsea’s academy in 2020, he joined Juventus’ junior set-up and has since made 37 senior appearances, the majority of which have come from the bench.

He recently scored two goals in the Young Lions’ 7-0 Euro under-21 qualification victory over Luxembourg on Tuesday (March 26).

He has primarily played as a left midfielder this season, although has previously played on the flanks and in central midfield.

Last year (23 December), sources told Football Insider that Juventus would have accepted a £17 million proposal for the 2003-born star during the January transfer window.

Ange Postecoglou‘s team is poised to renew their interest from the winter, with Football Insider noting at the time (17 November) that he was a top target with “huge potential”.
