Sources: Eric Dier is reportedly’seriously interested’ in leaving Tottenham to join Bayern Munich.
According to Football Insider, Eric Dier is very interested in leaving Tottenham for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in January.
According to Football Insider, Bayern Munich are planning a bid for Dier, 29, during the mid-season transfer window.
The Spurs star’s contract expires at the end of the 2023-24 season.
As a result, January may be Tottenham‘s only chance to get the defender, and it is understood the Lilywhites would only accept a permanent move rather than a loan switch.
Spurs are unlikely to sanction a loan exit for Dier, who is nearing the conclusion of his contract.
The England international is currently needed by Ange Postecoglou‘s team due to Micky van de Ven‘s injury and Cristian Romero’s ban.
Tottenham, on the other hand, will be looking for a new center-back in the January transfer window.
Following Van de Ven’s injury, Football Insider stated (12 November) that the north Londoners are interested in a January bid for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah.
After sustaining a major hamstring injury last week, the Dutchman, who impressed after coming in the summer window, is anticipated to be out until the new year.
