Summerville’s top suitors to sign with are PSG and Liverpool, according to a recent ESPN NL article. Arne Solt, spoke with the player.
Crysencio Summerville of Leeds United has recently been connected a lot to Paris Saint-Germain. Rumour has it that the Parisian team is also interested in other elite wingers, such as Nico Williams of Athletic Club and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli.
In the 2023–24 season, the 22-year-old made 49 appearances for Leeds United, contributing 10 assists and 21 goals to the Championship squad.
Journalist Robin Bairner discussed the characteristics that Summerville possesses that make him a prime target for the Parisians in an interview with PSG Talk when the rumours were circulating. Furthermore, according to Bairner, the Dutchman would be the ideal successor for Xavi Simons, whose future doesn’t seem to be in Paris given his current ties to Bayern Munich.
“There are some extremely talented players in the championship,” Bairner added. “It’s not a market you’d expect PSG to shop in, but Summerville scored 21 goals and assisted 10 times in 49 games for Leeds last season, which are impressive stats. In terms of style, I believe he will serve as a successor for Xavi Simons on the squad.
