‘Far too strong.’ Tim Sherwood believes just one team will win the Manchester City versus Liverpool match.

Tim Sherwood believes Liverpool have no chance of beating Manchester City tomorrow.
After winning their respective midweek European games, the two teams are prepared to face off at Anfield for their latest Premier League meeting.

Despite the fact that both sides are currently vying for the title, one expert and former top-flight manager believes that only one side has a chance of taking all three points on this occasion.
During Soccer Saturday, Sherwood stated that Liverpool had no chance against Manchester City.

He stated, “I don’t see Liverpool winning the game tomorrow. Liverpool‘s midfield is currently outmatched by Manchester City‘s.

“They need Mo Salah to be fit; if he isn’t fit and doesn’t play 90 minutes or starts the game, I don’t think they’ll win.

“I see Man City dominating the ball in the midfield areas, the likes of Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden at the moment – just incredible, probably the form player in the Premier League at the moment.”

Even though Liverpool is higher in the table and has scored more goals and conceded fewer than City this season, it’s intriguing to hear that Sherwood does not believe they will win, despite the fact that they have a very good record versus Manchester City at Anfield.

Interestingly, despite Sherwood predicting that City will win the midfield fight on this occasion, they have had more touches in the middle third of the pitch (10088) than any other team in the league this season.
However, only Bournemouth (193) has made more tackles in the midfield third than Liverpool (191) this season, indicating that this may not be as serious a concern for them as Sherwood believes.
