‘Fascinating’ – David Prutton’s prediction for Coventry City vs Leeds United

Pundit David Prutton has made his prediction for Leeds United‘s match with Coventry City this Saturday. The Whites are preparing for another critical game in their automatic promotion campaign, travelling to the Midlands to face a Coventry side that are also in a situation where they cannot afford to lose points while chasing a playoff spot.

The Sky Blues are now four points behind sixth-placed Norwich City with a game in hand, although they suffered a defeat at home to Cardiff City last time out. Leeds returned to winning ways by overcoming Hull City, but any slip-up could be expensive for the Whites, who already need a win to ensure their fate is in their own hands moving into the final games.

All of this makes Saturday’s game against Coventry difficult to predict, despite Leeds being the clear favourites. However, Sky Sports pundit Prutton has given it a shot, as he does every week in his Championship predictions column.

Prutton stated in this weekend’s issue that “Leeds are another team with momentum.” They did not play to their full potential against Hull, but it didn’t matter. They’ve got true game changers. Leeds should continue to use their squad depth as they do.

“They have Premier League-quality players who did not perform well in the top level. It will be a fascinating game. “I’ll go 2-1 Leeds.”

The two teams drew 1-1 at Elland Road earlier this season.
