Following an unsuccessful summer bid, Tottenham said a half-price January markdown was on goal.

Ange Postecoglou provides Radu Dragusin injury update Tottenham Hotspur has the opportunity to bolster the team’s defensive options by signing a summer transfer target for half price in January.

Postecoglou gave an update on Radu Dragusin‘s condition during his most recent pre-match press conference ahead of the team’s impending Premier League match against Wolves on Sunday, just days after their 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest.

Postecoglou is extremely concerned that they may not have a senior center-back available for their next match after the Romanian international was substituted out in the last minutes of their defeat at the City Ground due to an ankle injury.

The defender will now undergo a late fitness test to ascertain whether he can play against Wolves or whether the ailment is more chronic, but Postecoglou thinks it is still too early to tell how serious Dragusin‘s condition is.

“A bit early to tell,” Postecoglou stated in reference to Dragusin‘s pain.

“He felt that he couldn’t go on since he strained his ankle last night. Therefore, we will simply have to wait and see. Sort of hold off on making a decision until he arrives today.

Michael Kayode, a defender for Fiorentina, is available to Tottenham in January at half price.

According to Firenze Viola, via Sport Witness, Spurs‘ summer transfer window attempt to sign Michael Kayode from Fiorentina was turned down.

La Viola, who were previously valued at about £25 million, are now anticipated to consider offers of about half that amount next month, giving Levy the chance to sign the 20-year-old Italian in January at a 50% discount.

According to Firenze Viola, Tottenham can sign Kayode for about £12.5 million in the winter. The full-back is reportedly thinking about staying at Fiorentina, and the Serie A team may let him go once January 1st arrives.

In an interview with Radio Firenze Viola, Italian agent Pino Vitale described Kayode as “really strong” after he previously silenced Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a star for Napoli.

“Amazing. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was obliged to pursue him. Because of Kayode‘s hold over him, Kvaratskhelia had to swap wings! There is no need to worry about him.”
