Following the events of this week, Sean Dyche will bench an award-winning Everton player against Brighton.

Arnaut Danjuma will be dropped from Everton’s starting lineup against Brighton, according to Sean Dyche.

After his performance against Burnley in midweek, Sean Dyche is likely to drop Arnaut Danjuma from Everton’s starting eleven against Brighton.

On Saturday, November 4, the Toffees will face Brighton at Goodison Park, who will be attempting to qualify for Europe this season.

The Toffees, on the other hand, have more realistic expectations as they face another relegation battle this season.

However, their form has recently improved, and they won 3-0 against Burnley in the Carabao Cup on Thursday, 1 November.

Although Dyche is not a big fan of rotation, he did give Danjuma a rare start behind striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

However, the Netherlands international, who was Bournemouth‘s Player of the Season in 2020/21, did not have the desired impact.

Dyche gave him 68 minutes on the field, and his stats were, to say the least, underwhelming.

According to Sofascore, he only had 17 touches in the game and his pass accuracy was 71%.

He also lost his only ground duel and provided nothing out of possession for Dyche’s side.

The Toffees manager is used to having Abdoulaye Doucoure‘s work rate and the midfielder’s ability to chip in with crucial goals.

Danjuma is currently struggling to fit into the manager’s system and faces a bleak future at Goodison Park.
