For Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool should follow José Mourinho’s example and sign the “next Daniel Sturridge.”

Julian Ward ought to take advantage of a Jose Mourinho and prior Liverpool transfer ploy that might bring an Erling Haaland-type player to Anfield

Chelsea is a team that lacks direction right now. Todd Boehly, the club’s new owner, is still relatively new to the world of football, and it appears that he is still getting a handle on the rules of the game and attempting to establish a philosophy at Chelsea.

Due to this, the club adopted a disorganized strategy during the summer transfer window, and Liverpool should aim to take advantage of this situation.

There are often youthful stars to be found at Stamford Bridge who are underappreciated by their local club, as Chelsea is a great base for developing young talent.

That will be something Liverpool can attest to. Dominic Solanke and Daniel Sturridge were both successful transfers from the London-based team to Anfield almost ten years ago.

When José Mourinho brought Tammy Abraham from Chelsea to AS Roma most recently, he benefited from a deal of this nature. Tammy Abraham, a product of the Chelsea academy, has subsequently flourished in Rome under Mourinho’s direction.

Julian Ward should try to recruit another talented Chelsea prospect who isn’t playing a lot this year in an effort to replicate that transaction and Michael Edwards’ prior success with Chelsea attackers.

But Broja hasn’t gotten much attention at Chelsea thus far. He has played for Chelsea for just 154 minutes and is yet to make a start in a game as of yet in October. Given how far along the season is, that is an absurdly brief amount of time to spend on the field, and the 21-year-old will undoubtedly grow impatient if his minutes are consistently so low.

If that turns out to be the situation in the January transfer window, Julian Ward should unquestionably make an aggressive offer for Broja given Liverpool’s need for another forward following the departures of Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi this summer, as well as the possibility that Roberto Firmino will leave for greener pastures when his contract expires at the end of the season.

With Boehly in charge, Liverpool might just be able to persuade the club’s new owner to part ways with Broja for a price that would benefit everyone involved. His style of play would undoubtedly suit the Reds.
