According to journalist Pete O’Rourke, former Leeds United manager Steve Evans is in the running for the vacant manager’s position at Scottish club Hibernian.

Hibs are looking for a new manager after sacking Lee Johnson after a terrible start to the new season.
The Easter Road club elected to end Johnson‘s reign after only three games in the Scottish Premiership this season.
They are now looking for a replacement, and Evans, best known for his time as manager at Elland Road, is a contender.

Evans has managed Mansfield Town, Peterborough United, Gillingham and Stevenage since leaving Leeds.
He led Stevenage to promotion from League Two last season after inheriting a team fighting for survival the previous season.
Stevenage have made a strong start to life in League One, collecting ten points from their opening five games to lie in fifth place.

Scot Evans may be tempted by a transfer to Easter Road to manage in the Scottish Premiership, but losing his talents would be a devastating blow for Stevenage.
