Head coach of the men’s first team Roberto De Zerbi expressed his happiness for Jason. He is an excellent player. Jason is a key player for us, on and off the pitch,” technical director David Weir continued. “Over his time here, his leadership, attitude, and daily contributions to this club have greatly contributed to our advancement.”

We have decided to keep him with us until at least June 2026, and I am overjoyed that his patience and loyalty are now being rewarded.

After four and a half seasons as a vital member of the team and a well-respected senior player for Albion, Roberto recognized his abilities and elevated him to regular keeper for the second half of the 2022–2023 campaign.

He was excellent, playing in 15 Premier League games as we achieved our highest-ever top-tier finish of sixth and made our first-ever European qualification.

He has participated in nine games this season in all competitions, playing alongside new summer addition Bart Verbruggen.
