Gianluca Di Marzio, an Italian journalist, has shared some information on Fulham’s pursuit of Juventus fullback Luca Pellegrini.
According to his claim, the Whites aren’t the only team interested in signing the 25-year-old, as OGC Nice and Lazio are also keen.
Fulham appear to have an edge because they have already reached an agreement with the player on a move to Craven Cottage.
Meanwhile, Nice are thought to have reached an agreement with Juventus and should now strive to persuade Pellegrini.
For the time being, Lazio appears to be trailing in the race. They had him on loan, but appear to have made little attempt to secure a permanent move, as their interest is said to be on’stand-by’ for the time being.
Di Marzio simply does not state how much the deal between Nice and Juventus is worth, as matching that price may be all that Fulham requires to win the signing war.
Marco Silva‘s side are rumoured to be interested in Pellegrini as a replacement for Fodé Ballo-Touré, who they did not sign.
