Gabriel Agbonlahor is not pleased with the information he has learned about Tottenham

Following the announcement of a season ticket price rise by Tottenham Hotspur yesterday, Gabriel Agbonlahor has attacked the team.

The 2024–25 Spurs season ticket prices will increase by 6%, the team announced Wednesday.

The hike has been attributed by Tottenham to “a significant increase in matchday costs,” and it’s safe to say that fans are not happy about the news.

Since then, the club’s supporters trust has issued a statement expressing their “dismay” at the decision.

Gabriel Agbonlahor has now reprimanded the Tottenham board and instructed them to begin awarding prizes prior to increasing ticket costs.

Agbonlahor is upset about the increase in Tottenham season ticket prices.

Agbonlahor responded to yesterday’s announcement while speaking on talkSPORT.

The former Aston Villa striker remarked, “What I don’t like is that money is tough for people out there. I have friends in London who can’t even get on the property ladder because of London’s ridiculous prices.”

“You go there and shop for groceries; the prices are absurd. The expenses are increasing. You’re raising the fees while people—die-hard fans—use their extra cash to watch games. Some people may find this to be beyond their means.

“As you say, a wealthy team that doesn’t win any trophies despite having better, more thrilling football. But hold on, Spurs, perhaps you should start taking home some championships before you start demanding a 6% hike.

Football.London reports that the increase in price will result in the adult season ticket with the lowest price being £856 and the highest priced being £2,367.

Junior season tickets range in price from £428 for the least costly to £606 for the most expensive.

It’s inexplicable that Tottenham would do this, and the fans are justifiably incensed.

You would think that the club would be better able to handle growing expenses than the typical fan, given the current crisis in living expenses that affects match-going supporters.

This announcement will surely cause harm to the bridges that have been constructed since Ange Postecoglou’s appointment, just when Daniel Levy and the Tottenham board appeared to be winning the fans over once more.
