Goodnews for Brighton’s fans as one of their players has been shortlisted for the player of the month award alongside with other players.

Karou Mitoma, a 26 year old Japanese player, plays as a left winger for the Seagulls. He has had a good start this season, scoring a goal, giving three assists and has had two yellow cards with just four matches played.

Brighton and Mitoma has started the season well because they are 6th on the table with three wins and one loss from the first four matches.

Mitoma was also nominated alongside for the award with Taiwo Awoniyi (Nottingham forest), James Maddison (Tottenham Hotspur), Jarrod Bowen (West ham), Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford), Rodri (Manchester city). The Seagulls will hope their star wins the award.
