Guglielmo Vicario makes a STUNNING goalline save to earn a 2-0 victory at City Ground as Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski score to put the Lilywhites back on track.
Tottenham fans were treated to not only a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Friday evening, but also some outstanding individual performances.
Guglielmo Vicario‘s remarkable stop in the last minutes of play, in which he used his feet to keep off an attempt from Harry Toffolo, was one of those performances.
Toffolo made a hard headed attempt on goal after Morgan Gibbs-White‘s corner kick, but Vicario made a last-ditch save to retain the visitors’ clean sheet.
Falling over, the Italian custodian threw his foot forward to prevent Forest from scoring late.
Richarlison was also among Tottenham’s standout performers, scoring the visitors’ first goal with a beautiful header from Dejan Kulusevski‘s cross.
Kulusevski, named Player of the Match, was a great attacking player for Postecoglou’s Lilywhites at the City Ground, scoring and assisting.
Yves Bissouma, on the other hand, received his second red card of the season, putting him out of next week’s match against Everton.
Destiny Udogie was also booked in the aftermath of Bissouma’s dismissal, which means he will miss Tottenham’s forthcoming encounter against Everton.
