Under new boss Ange Postecoglou, Harry Kane is “really happy” to see Tottenham thrive without him.
Spurs have won four and drawn one of their first five Premier League games this season, and they face Arsenal, who have the same record, in the north London derby on Sunday.
Kane, who has had a fantastic start to life since joining Bayern Munich for £120 million, insists he will never stop rooting for Spurs.
When asked about Spurs’ recent form, Kane told reporters, “Fantastic start – I am always keeping an eye on them and think I will keep an eye on Tottenham for the rest of my life.”
“I am really happy to see the team playing the way they are, and it’s also great to see their fans happy.””I’m sure they’ll be eager to keep it up.” They have a big game coming up, so I’ll definitely keep an eye on them throughout the season.”
Kane claimed that leaving Spurs for Bayern was the right decision as he prepares to face Manchester United, another club that has long been interested in him.The England captain is said to have had no desire to move to Manchester United this summer.
“Obviously, over the summer, I know there were some background talks between a few clubs, but Bayern were a team I was really interested in and excited about,” he stated.
“Once they came in, there weren’t many other discussions.” It was up to them and Tottenham to negotiate, and then the deal was completed.
“I‘m concentrating on this.” Manchester United is a fantastic club, as well as a very large club. I just chose to come here and I’m glad I did.”
